Professional Background

I run data functions as a service: I become the data department for companies that don't have one yet, build it end to end, and hand it over working, trained on their own stack, with no lock-in. I'm also an engineering manager leading a remote data and analytics team, and a data architect and strategist. Passionate about open-source tools, cloud technologies, and building efficient data platforms, I share my journey here: the work I do, the projects I tinker with, the ideas I'm exploring, and the life I'm building.

Personal Journey

After seven years in Ireland, I moved back to Italy last year. The weather's better, the pasta's unbeatable, and let's just say I prefer my coffee short. I'm also a big fan of TV shows and soccer, so don't be surprised if pop culture and fantasy soccer sneak into my posts alongside Snowflake, dbt, or reflections on leading a remote team.
